The present invention relates to a button pressing device which allows a user to press a button installed in a public facility used by a plurality of users without direct use of his or her hand to press the button, and which is capable of sterilizing a portion in contact with the button upon contact with the button. The present invention comprises: a coupled portion coupled to a person′s body or a person′s belongings； a main body portion provided on the coupled portion and including a power supply module for supplying power and a control module； a light emitting portion provided on an upper end of the main body portion and emitting a light source for sterilization； a transparent pressing cover made of a transparent member, provided at the front of the light emitting portion, and covering the light emitting portion； and a pressing switch provided between the coupled portion and the transparent pressing cover, and turned on when the transparent pressing cover is pressed so that power of the power supply module is provided to the light emitting portion.
