PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal transpiration device, which can transpire a chemical agent efficiently without generating any unnecessary smoke.SOLUTION: The thermal transpiration device includes: a heat generator having a storage for a chemical agent constituted of a recessed part at a top surface and the chemical agent stored in the storage in a state where an original material which transpires by being heated does not contain a foaming agent. On the surface defining the storage for the chemical agent, holes connecting the inside and the outside of the heat generator are formed.
