The present invention relates to stable dosage forms and compositions of levodopa and carbidopa for the treatment of patients suffering from Parkinsons disease. The dosage forms and compositions comprise both solid and liquid formulations and result in stable pharmaceutical products. Such dosage forms and compositions comprise a metal chelator and a levodopa concentration from about 1 mg/mL to about 30 mg/mL.
