PURPOSE: A subjective tree vigor determining device for seedless cultivation of large-grain grapes is provided to easily determine tree vigor right after harvest or during winter pruning, and a seedless cultivation method of large-grain grapes using the tree vigor determining device is provided. CONSTITUTION: A tree vigor determining device comprises a groove having a half-moon shape such that a branch can be inserted between a first bud and a second bud of a bearing branch. Determination standards are written on a circular plate of the tree vigor determining device for Campbell Early grapes: 7-9 mm (very weak): cut 1/3 of a main branch, concern of mixing with seeded grapes； 9-11 mm (weak)； constantly manage practices, fat granules are bad； 11-13 mm (normal)； normally manage vines, maintain an appropriate amount of fruit setting； 13-15 mm (strong)； concern of decrease of flowers, perform selective thinning； 15 mm or greater (very strong)； and bad germination, perform thinning on an entire area. Tree vigor is determined by measuring the thickness of a branch by inserting the branch between the first and second buds into the groove having a half-moon shape.
