Le composé selon la présente invention possède un effet inhibiteur sur deux cibles, utile pour inhiber lactivité du récepteur de ladénosine afin de permettre la résistance à lhyperosmolarité, et pour inhiber lactivité iNOS afin de permettre la résistance à loxydation. Ledit composé possède ainsi un excellent effet contre la cataracte. Le composé selon la présente invention est un composé à petites molécules qui est facilement absorbé par lorganisme, qui passe facilement à travers la membrane cellulaire, qui ne saccumule pas dans lorganisme, et qui ne présente aucune toxicité ni effet secondaire.
