PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for generating X-rays of energy with an intracorporeal transmission of about 10-20 mm in close proximity to a malignant tumor to carry out a pin-point treatment since the current X-ray treatment, although effective in malignant tumor treatment, damages also a healthy part at the same time and produces many side effects.SOLUTION: It is well known to generate X-rays by allowing laser to pass through inside a small-diameter flexible pipe and inside an optical fiber and condensing light in close proximity to a tumor affected part to generate high-temperature plasma on the surface of a solid. This X-ray generator, however, (1) can generate X-rays not in a vacuum but in the atmosphere, (2) can generate strong X-rays in the traveling direction of laser beams, and (3) has strong directivity in the traveling direction of light, thereby attaining an effective pin-point treatment to the malignant tumor with a compact and lightweight structure.COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT【課題】現行のX線治療は、悪性腫瘍治療に有効であるが、同時に健常部まで損傷し、多くの副作用が伴う。体内透過性が10~20mm程度のエネルギーのX線を悪性腫瘍の直近傍で発生させ、Pin-pointで治療する手段が要求されている。【解決手段】レーザーを細い可撓型パイプ内部や光ファイバー内を通して腫瘍患部の直近傍で集光して固体の表面に高温プラズマを生成してX線を発生させることはよく知られているが、本発明では 1.真空中ではなく大気中で生成可能、2.レーザー光の進行方向に強いX線発生が可能、3.光の進行方向に強い指向性をもっていることを特色とし、小型軽量で悪性腫瘍により有効にPin-point治療を可能にすることができる。【選択図】図1
