[PROBLEM] To provide a knitted item which exhibits insect-repelling capabilities with limited degradation of the mechanical properties of said knitted item. [SOLUTION] The present invention is a knitted item comprising a plurality of yarns, some of said yarns being multifilaments that are composed of several monofilaments and contain an insect-repellent. Each monofilament can be composed of a core-sheath structure having a core which contains the insect-repellent and is formed from a thermoplastic resin, and a sheath which covers the core and is formed from a thermoplastic resin. A knitted item having a marquisette structure can be used as this knitted item. Some of the yarns can be used as yarns which are not chain-stitch yarns in the marquisette structure.
