The invention relates to a flat drainage system which can be used for various forms of wound treatment, especially for the vacuum-assisted wound treatment of large and deep wounds. The aim of the invention is to provide drainage means which can be adapted to the respective wound in an accurately fitting manner and without requiring any special manual skills by the surgeon, which needs no complicated fixation during placement in the wound site and which especially allows the area to be easily sealed for a vacuum treatment. To achieve this aim, the flat drainage means consists of a first film-type flexible layer (1) facing away from the wound and a second flexible layer (2) facing the wound, a plane (3) being provided between the two layers, which plane interspaces the two layers (1; 2) in such a manner that, even when exposed to a vacuum, labyrinth-type paths (31) are formed between introduced interspaced means (34) and that at least one engaging suction tube (4) is provided between the layers (1; 2).
