PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a puncture tool which enables a protector for covering an outer needle hub to be reliably attached without increasing dimensions of the protector when the outer needle hub has wings, protects an outer needle and an inner needle protruding from the outer needle, prevents the displacement of the needles, and can ensure safety.SOLUTION: A protector 5 includes: a cylindrical part 5a for housing an outer needle a body part 5 which extends from the cylindrical part 5a to form an upper surface and a side surface and has opening parts 5c1, 5c2 on a lower surface and an opposite end part of the cylindrical part a rib-like frame 5d formed on an outer peripheral surface of the body part of the cylindrical part 5a and a protrusion 5e to be engaged that is formed on an inner peripheral surface of the body part. The protrusion 5e to be engaged of the body part 5 engages a rib-like protrusion of an inner needle hub, and the outer needle is housed in the cylindrical part 5a by placing a protrusion site of an outer needle hub in the opening part 5c2 on the lower surface of the protector 5 and inserting an end side of the inner needle hub from the opening part 5c1 of the protector.
