The present invention relates to a safety cover for a syringe needle for a syringe, wherein the syringe comprises a cylinder accommodating a drug solution and a plunger capable of pushing out the drug solution in the cylinder, wherein provided on the neck of the cylinder is a needle cartridge having a protrusion rib formed around a leading end of a coupling cap and having a syringe needle inserted in the other end, wherein the needle cartridge is provided with the safety cover for preventing safety accidents and infections caused by syringe needles being discarded after injection. The safety cover comprises: a coupling tool which has an insertion hole open at one end thereof, has a coupling groove formed around an inner surface thereof, and has a coupling recess formed at the other side thereof, so as to surround the outer surface of the needle cartridge being inserted therein, and to be press-fitted to the protrusion rib； and a cover which includes first and second mounting grooves, which have coupling bumps protruding from one end thereof and allow the coupling cap and the syringe needle of the needle cartridge to be received and sealed therein at the other end thereof, so as to be rotatably press-fitted with the coupling recess of the coupling tool, and a restricting rib in the center of the second mounting groove to allow the syringe needle to be received and restricted in a sealed state.
