Provided is a method to increase the growth of a plant by coating a seed of said plant with a composition comprising at least one of various cationic compounds； notably permitting to develop its biomass and reach its maturity. Provided also is a seed coating composition used in such a method.La présente invention se rapporte à un procédé permettant d'augmenter la croissance d'un végétal par enrobage d'une graine dudit végétal avec une composition comprenant au moins un composé choisis parmi divers composés cationiques. En particulier, ce procédé permet au végétal de développer sa biomasse et d'atteindre sa maturité. Par ailleurs, l'invention concerne une composition d'enrobage de semence utilisée dans un tel procédé.
