摘要:
FIELD: medicine.SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, particularly to oncology, and can be used for assessing the effectiveness of rehabilitation of patients with cosmetic defects after treating malignant growths (MG) of external localisations. Patient is offered to reveal the relation to the cosmetic defect according to the questionnaire including six indicators: ‘Disturbances from the cosmetic defect limit you in daily activities and behaviour’, ‘You try not to appear again in public’, ‘You make a daily routine based on the need to care for the wound’, ‘You are shy of your appearance or feel defective’, ‘Pain in postoperative scar’, ‘Cosmetic result’. Degree of negative or positive ratio of patient to cosmetic defect is calculated for each indicator by means of colour visual-analogue scale made in the form of ruler with length of 10 cm. Scale is graduated from left to right in shades of red as colour intensity decreases with transition to green tone as intensity increases colour. Patient independently indicates the colour position of the scale corresponding to its condition, being guided by the frequency of occurrence of the corresponding index, which is defined as ‘always’, ‘often’, ‘rarely’, ‘very rarely’, ‘never’. Reverse side of the ruler is a digital scale from 0 to 10 cm and correlates with the colour ranges that the patient chooses for each of the six indicators. Doctor assesses the patient's relation to the cosmetic defect before treatment, during treatment and after treatment by each feature in points. Interval 0–2 cm of digital scale is assigned 1 point, 2–4 cm - 2 points, 4–6 cm - 3 points, 6–8 cm - 4 points, 8–10 cm - 5 points. Higher the score, the higher the rehabilitation effectiveness.EFFECT: method enables providing more accurate assessment of the effectiveness of rehabilitation by quantitative determination of the most informative indices directly demonstrating the effect of the cosmetic defect on the rehabilitation of the patients suffering t
