PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical probe.SOLUTION: A medical probe includes a flexible insertion tube that has a deformable distal end for insertion into a body cavity of a patient, and the deformable distal end includes a flexible and porous material that is structured so as to contact a tissue in the body cavity. The medical probe also includes: a means for inflating the deformable distal end； and a channel that is contained in the insertion tube, generates mechanical force sufficient to inflate the deformable distal end and conveys a fluid to irrigate the tissue through a hole of the deformable distal end.
