The present invention provides a method and a device for providing an improved image by enhancing the quality of an ultrasound image. The adaptive demodulation method includes the steps of: obtaining input radio frequency (RF) data； orthogonally demodulating the input RF data to output an in-phase and quadrature (IQ) signal； determining a valid region regarding the input RF data； and estimating the attenuation of the frequency of the IQ signal based on the data included in the valid region of the input RF data and performing a frequency correction operation corresponding to the estimated attenuation of the frequency.초음파 영상의 품질을 높여 개선된 영상을 제공하는 방법 및 장치를 제공한다. 적응적 복조 방법은, 입력 라디오 주파수(Radio Frequency； RF) 데이터를 획득하는 단계와, 입력 라디오 주파수 데이터를 직교 복조함으로써 IQ(Inphase-Quadrature) 신호를 출력하는 단계와, 입력 라디오 주파수 데이터에 대한 유효 영역을 결정하는 단계 및 입력 라디오 주파수 데이터 중 유효 영역 내에 포함되는 데이터에 기초하여, IQ 신호에 대한 주파수의 감쇄를 추정하고, 추정된 주파수의 감쇄에 상응하는 주파수 보상을 수행하는 단계를 포함한다.
