The present invention relates to a variable cartridge for a drug dispensing apparatus, which can be used by selecting an insertion groove, which a tablet is inserted into, to have a size corresponding to the tablet. The variable cartridge comprises: a rotor having insertion grooves for accommodating tablets between gear members which protrude at regular intervals from the outer circumference surface； and a case which has a storage room for accommodating tablets, a rotor mounting portion for mounting the rotor on the bottom of the storage room, and a discharge hole formed on the bottom of the rotor mounting portion.
