Based on LpxC inhibitory action, it is to provide a novel compound that exhibits strong antibacterial activity against Gram-negative bacteria such as Pseudomonas aeruginosa and drug-resistant bacteria and is useful as a pharmaceutical product. A hydroxamic acid derivative represented by the general formula: or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof is provided.ＬｐｘＣ阻害作用に基づいて、緑膿菌等のグラム陰性細菌及びその薬剤耐性菌に対して強い抗菌活性を示し、医薬品として有用な新規な化合物を提供することである。一般式【化１】で表されるヒドロキサム酸誘導体又はその薬学的に許容される塩を提供する。
