The present invention relates to a computed tomography apparatus and a computed tomography method. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the computed tomography apparatus includes a gantry and an image processing processor. The gantry includes a light source to emit light, a receptor to accommodate light, and an arm to support the light source and the receptor. The image processing processor receives a two dimensional detection image for a subject from the receptor. The image processing processor converts the two dimensional detection image into two dimensional detection image data. The image processing processor generates three dimensional reconstruction image data from the two dimensional detection image data. According to the present invention, the computed tomography apparatus and the computed tomography method correct an error of a gantry moving path to provide a stable three dimensional reconstruction image.본 발명은 컴퓨터 단층 촬영 장치 및 컴퓨터 단층 촬영 방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 실시예에 따른 컴퓨터 단층 촬영 장치는 갠트리 및 영상처리 프로세서를 포함한다. 갠트리는 광을 조사하는 광원, 광을 수용하는 수용체, 및 광원 및 수용체를 지지하는 암을 포함한다. 영상처리 프로세서는 수용체로부터 피사체에 대한 2차원 검출 영상을 수신한다. 영상처리 프로세서는 2차원 검출 영상을 2차원 검출 영상 데이터로 변환한다. 영상처리 프로세서는 2차원 검출 영상 데이터로부터 3차원 재건 영상 데이터를 생성한다. 본 발명에 따른 컴퓨터 단층 촬영 장치 및 컴퓨터 단층 촬영 방법은 갠트리 이동 경로의 오차를 보정하여 안정적인 3차원 재건 영상을 제공할 수 있다.
