PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cosmetic composition which inhibits the sulfur smell of cysteine or cysteine derivatives.SOLUTION: The cosmetic composition includes cysteine or a cysteine derivative and an extract solution obtained by extracting Belamcanda chinensis De Candolle with at least one selected from water, a lower alcohol, and a polyol-based organic solvent. Incorporation of the extract of Belamcanda chinensis De Candolle can remarkably inhibit the sulfur smell of cysteine derivatives.
