According to the invention, a machine of the type comprising a casing, means for loading the said casing and loading means of the manure spreader type, is characterised in that the said loading means consist of an elevator 8 with small bars 38 having a plate 40 inclined at approximately 50 DEG to the horizontal, the said elevator being capable of being moved along its midplane 41 so as to allow adjustment of the height h of its lower end above the ground.
