PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To acquire a stable result of measurement even when an index image which acts as a noise in measurement is detected.SOLUTION: An eye refractive power measurement apparatus is provided with: a measuring optical system which projects a measuring light onto a fundus of an eye to be examined and takes out the fundus reflection light as a prescribed index pattern image to be imaged by a two-dimensional imaging element and an arithmetic control means which measures the eye refractive power of the eye to be examined on the basis of the index pattern image imaged by the two-dimensional imaging element and outputs the result of measurement. The apparatus is also provided with a storage means for previously storing index image data which is formed by the reflection from an optical member composed of the measuring optical system and acts as the noise in the measurement. The arithmetic control means specifies the index image data according to the fundus reflection light by using the result of imaging by the two-dimensional imaging element and the index image data stored in the storage means, and outputs the result of measurement corresponding to the specified index image data.
