This masterbatch contains a black pigment and a masterbatch thermoplastic resin, and satisfies the following condition. (condition) For 3 parts by weight of the aforementioned masterbatch, 100 parts by weight of a polypropylene are admixed that has a 30g/10min melt flow rate (JIS K 7210:1999) and a density of 0.9 g/cm3 (JIS K7112:1999), and, when a mold polished with an abrasive cloth paper having grain size #800 (JIS R 6001:1998) is used to create a resin plate by injection molding, the a* value and the b* value in the L*a*b* color system on the surface of the resin plate satisfy a specific condition.
