PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a zygote holder capable of easily holding and releasing a zygote, and an assembling method of such a zygote holder.SOLUTION: A zygote holder comprises a cylindrical member 10 and a slide member 30. The cylindrical member 10 has an inner space SP. The cylindrical member 10 includes an outer cylinder 11 and a tip cylinder 21 connected to a distal part of the outer cylinder 11. The slide member 30 is a member slidable relative to the cylindrical member 10. At least a part of the slide member 30 is disposed in the inner space SP of the cylindrical member 10. The slide member 30 includes a fixing member 36.
