PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide promoters stronger than animal cell expression promoters, and vectors using the same, in technologies making animal cells efficiently produce recombinant proteins.SOLUTION: There is provided a hybrid promoter comprising a combination of a CMV (cytomegalovirus) enhancer and a mammalian &bgr；-actin promoter, or the post-transcriptional regulatory region of the genomic sequence of Woodchuck Hepatitis Virus (WPRE) and the mammalian &bgr；-actin promoter. Further, the &bgr；-actin promoter is enhanced in activity by the simultaneous expression of an oncogene product Ras which is a transactivator.【課題】組換えタンパク質を効率よく動物細胞に産生させる技術において、動物細胞発現プロモーターよりも強力なプロモーターと、それを利用したベクターの提供。【解決手段】CMV（サイトメガウイルス）エンハンサーと哺乳類βアクチンプロモーター、もしくはWoodchuck Hepatitis Virusゲノム配列の転写後調節領域(WPRE)と哺乳類βアクチンプロモーターを組み合わせたハイブリッドプロモーター、さらに、このβアクチンプロモーターは、トランスアクティベーターである癌遺伝子産物のRasの同時発現によって、活性が高められる。【選択図】なし
