<；P>；PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for forming a silver mirror layer, by which a silver mirror layer is formed on the carbon fiber composite with a simple constitution by utilizing a silver mirror reaction, and which is applied to leisure goods excellent in the adhesion with the surface of the carbon fiber composite； and to provide a carbon fiber composite having a silver mirror layer. <；P>；SOLUTION: The method for forming the silver mirror layer includes an undercoat construction process, a stannous chloride solution spray process, a stannous chloride solution removal process, a silver nitrate solution spray process, a silver mirror layer forming process, an unreacted solution removal process, a silver mirror reaction suppression process, a rinse solution removal process, an air blowing process, a drying process, and a top coat layer construction process.
