A penile prosthetic (20) includes a penile implant (26) sized for insertion into a dilated corpora cavernosum of a penis and an insertion sleeve. The penile implant includes a proximal tip (30) that is insertable into a crus penis and an inflatable bladder (28) connected to the proximal tip. The inflatable bladder has a first column strength and includes a distal tip (32) that is insertable into a glans penis. The insertion sleeve (40) is attachable to an outside surface of the inflatable bladder. The insertion sleeve is soluble in saline or water.
