The present invention is directed to an aerosol formulation suitable for administration to COPD patients by a compression metered dose inhaler (pMDI), which comprises glycopyrronium bromide with formoterol. The formulation further comprises an amount of inorganic acid sufficient to stabilize both the HFA injector, co-solvent and both the glycopyrronium bromide and formoterol components.
