PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure for raising concentricity between a pinion gear and a spool shaft in the on-state of a clutch mechanism, in a double bearing fishing reel where a pinion shaft of a separate member from the spool shaft is inserted into the pinion gear.SOLUTION: A clutch mechanism of a double bearing fishing reel includes a pinion gear 26 capable of being axially moved between a rotation transmission position where the engaged part 26a is engaged with a clutch pin 14a of a spool shaft 14 and rotation blocking position where the engagement of the engaged part 26a with the clutch pin 14a is released. When the pinion gear 26 is in the rotation transmission position, a narrow part 26b of the pinion gear 26 is supported in a small diameter part 14c of the spool shaft 14, and thereby the pinion gear 26 and the spool shaft 14 are structured in the uni-axial manner.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT
