PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combine harvester capable of confirming the residual amount of a binding string without requiring a troublesome confirming operation.SOLUTION: The combine harvester provided with a binding apparatus 30 for binding waste straws by every predetermined amount with the binding string 100, includes a residual amount detecting means 74 detecting the residual amount of the binding string 100, and a residual amount notifying means 301 giving notice of information concerning the residual amount of the binding string 100 based on the detected result of the residual amount detecting means 74.
