PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic resonance imaging apparatus which substantially eliminates the wait time (TI) from after selective excitation until measurement of imaging echo signals when signals from a specific nuclide are suppressed by using a method of selective suppression for inverting only longitudinal magnetization of the specific nuclide.SOLUTION: A magnetic resonance imaging apparatus measures echo signals from a subject by using pulse sequences in which signals from a specific nuclide are suppressed, imaging echo signals are measured, and echo signals for correction of the phase of images are measured. The phase of an image constructed by using echo signals measured by an imaging echo measurement unit 202 is corrected by a phase correction map created by using echo signals measured by a phase correction echo measurement unit 203. Positive pixel values are extracted from the real number components of the phase-corrected image to obtain a positive image, and negative pixel values are extracted to obtain a negative image, and the positive image and the negative image are weight-added to thereby obtain a superimposed image.COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT【課題】特定核種の縦磁化のみを反転する選択的抑制法を用いて特定核種からの信号を抑制する際に,選択的励起の後から画像用のエコー信号の計測までの待ち時間(TI)を実質的に無くす磁気共鳴イメージング装置を提供する。【解決手段】特定核種からの信号を抑制し、画像用のエコー信号を計測し、画像の位相補正を行うためのエコー信号を計測するパルスシーケンスを用いて、被検体からエコー信号を計測する。位相補正用エコー計測部203で計測されたエコー信号を用いて作成された位相補正マップを用いて、画像用エコー計測部202で計測されたエコー信号を用いて構成された画像の位相を補正し、位相補正された画像の実数成分のうちから正の画素値を抽出して正画像を得て、負の画素値を抽出して負画像を得て、正画像と負画像とを重み付け加算して重畳画像を取得する。【選択図】図2
