PURPOSE: A medical image segmentation processing device and method, and a recording medium are provided to improve segmentation speed by applying automatic segmentation processing to a medical image. CONSTITUTION: A medical image input unit receives a medical image and loads it. An interface unit(130) offers interface. The interface establishes parameter for 3-dimensional image segmenting processing of the medical image. An image segmentation unit(120) executes the 3-dimensional image segmenting in regard to an interest region included in the medical image. A segmentation image visualization unit(140) visualizes and outputs a segmentation region in which the 3-dimensional image segmenting is executed.본 발명은 의료 영상 분할 처리 장치와 방법 및 컴퓨터 프로그램이 기록된 기록매체에 관한 것으로, 개시된 의료 영상 분할 처리 장치는 의료 영상을 입력받아 로드하는 의료 영상 입력부와, 의료 영상의 3차원 영상 분할 처리를 위한 파라미터를 설정할 수 있는 인터페이스를 제공하는 인터페이스부와, 인터페이스를 통해 설정된 파라미터에 따라 의료 영상에 포함된 관심 영역에 대한 3차원 영상 분할 처리를 수행하는 영상 분할부와, 이 영상 분할부에 의해 3차원 영상 분할 처리된 분할 영역을 시각화하여 출력하는 분할 영역 시각화부를 포함하며, 의료 영상에 대한 반자동 분할 처리를 적용하여 3차원 공간상에서 분할의 정확성을 떨어뜨리지 않으면서 분할 속도를 향상시킬 수 있는 이점이 있다.
