PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the screening performance of a screening apparatus and the rejection ratio of rachis-branch and reduce the size of the body of a combine by decreasing the volume occupied by the screening apparatus.SOLUTION: The screening apparatus of a combine is provided with an unripe grain conveyor 23 and an unripe grain returning conveyor 14 to return and transport the screened unripe grains to the screening part. An unripe grain returning apparatus 10 having an unripe grain treating cylinder 11 is placed near the delivery end of the unripe grain returning conveyor 14 and the unripe grain treating cylinder 11 is driven by transmitting the driving force of the screening apparatus such as a winnower or a ripe grain conveyor.COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO【課題】 選別装置の選別性能・枝梗除去の精度の向上を図るとともに、該選別装置が占める容積を削減することによって、コンバインの機体のコンパクト化を図ることを課題とする。【解決手段】 選別後の二番物を選別部へ還元搬送する、二番コンベア23及び二番還元コンベア14を具備するコンバインの選別装置において、前記二番還元コンベア14の終端近傍に、二番処理胴11を備える二番還元装置10を配置し、唐箕又は一番コンベア等の選別装置の駆動を伝達して前記二番処理胴11を駆動する構成とした。
