The present invention relates to an expandable medical balloon for a medical device having a static state, at least one first expanded state and at least one second expanded state, and the balloon having a longitudinal axis, the balloon having a substantially polygonal geometric shape in a cross-sectional view perpendicular to the longitudinal axis in the static state, and wherein the balloon has an inflation pressure of 8 to 30 atmospheres.
