PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-in-oil type emulsion cosmetic which contains trimethylsiloxy silicic acid and is excellent in holding power of skin moisture, provides finished skin with gloss, and hardly migrates in color even over time.SOLUTION: The water-in-oil type emulsion cosmetic contains: (A) perfluoropolyether which is liquid at 25°C and is contained in an amount of 0.01 to 20 mass% (B) trimethylsiloxy silicic acid in an amount of 0.1-40 mass% (C) highly polymerized polyether-modified silicone in an amount of 0.01-20 mass% and represented by a general formula (1) (D) nonvolatile oil which is liquid at 25°C and has a solubility parameter of 16.5 or more and is contained in an amount of 0.1-10 mass% and (E) volatile silicon oil in an amount of 1-60 mass%. In the general formula (1), A is a methyl group, a phenyl group, or a polyoxyalkylene group represented by a general formula: -CHO(CHO)(CHO)R, R is a methyl group, or a phenyl group, and at least one of A is the polyoxyalkylene group, where a mass ratio (A)/(C) of the component (A) and the component (C) is 0.05-200.
