A method and device for locating a target on a human body using superficial venous characteristics. On the basis that a superficial vein (4) and a human body target (32) have fixed positions relative to each other, and that the superficial vein (4) is easily observed by a vein display device (2), a position-locating model displaying both the superficial vein (4) and the human body target (32) is constructed, achieving precise position-locating of the human body target (32). The device has a simple structure, is easy to use and operate, has high accuracy, can be used at any angle, has a wide range of application and little interference from the surrounding environment, can perform position-locating at any angle and position, is easy to install and remove, and a suitable mold or projection manner may be selected according to different human body targets. The present invention, when in clinical use, provides precise position-locating, reducing the time and effort required to achieve position-locating compared to physicians making repeated searches relying on their experience.
