The present invention relates to a medical device, comprising a catheter body, a radially expandable structure coupled to the catheter body, a flex circuit mounted to the radially expandable structure, a plurality of electrodes disposed along the flex circuit, wherein the plurality of electrodes includes a pair of bipolar electrodes, one or more conductive leads electrically coupled to the plurality of electrodes, the conductive leads being supported by the flex circuit and extending toward the catheter body, and a processor electrically coupled to the one or more conductive leads.
