The invention relates to a casket assembly (1) comprising: a covering (100) suitable at least partially to cover a coffin (2) retaining means (11A, 11B, 10, 15) mounted on the covering (100), the retaining means (11A, 11B, 10, 15) being arranged and designed to stably retain the first coffin (2) when the retaining means (11A, 11B, 10, 15) are in an engaged configuration (A) and to release the first coffin (2) when the retaining means (11A, 11B, 10, 15) are in a disengaged configuration (B). The invention also relates to a casket and coffin group comprising the casket assembly (1) and a coffin (2), which is intended to be engaged by said casket assembly (1).
