The apparatus includes at least one processor configured to implement: a determination unit analyzing at least one of an image, which includes an object, and a sound related to the object, and, as a result of the analysis, determining a type of the object; and an alarm generation unit controlling an alarm generator to generate an alarm according to a result of the determination performed by the determination unit.
