The present invention describes an ergonomic girdle for persons on peritoneal dialysis, which girdle is used for patient care following a surgical procedure, specifically for renal failure, a catheter having been inserted into the patient. One of the benefits of using the present invention is that it provides abdominal support, ensuring the care of the suture so that same does not open as a result of the movements and/or efforts of the patient. The girdle is also characterised in that it protects the catheter, since it has an opening that allows the catheter to come out of the girdle, preventing the catheter from folding or pulling downwards as a result of the weight of the dialysis liquid. The girdle further comprises a compartment in which the catheter can be placed, at the same time protecting the catheter from exposure to the environment and from the perspiration of the patient, thereby ensuring the prevention of infections that can be harmful to the health of the wearer.La presente invención describe una faja ergonómica para personas con diálisis peritoneal que sirve para el cuidado de los pacientes después de ser intervenidos quirúrgicamente, específicamente por falla renal, donde se le ha colocado al paciente un catéter para llevar a cabo las diálisis, los beneficios de la utilización de la presente invención brindan soporte abdominal permitiendo asegurar el cuidado de la sutura para que ésta no se abra por movimientos y/o esfuerzos del paciente. También cuenta con la particularidad de proteger el catéter, ya que tiene un orificio para que pueda salir de la faja previniendo que este se doble o se jale hacia abajo por el peso del líquido de la diálisis, así mismo cuenta con un compartimiento donde dicho catéter puede ser colocado protegiendo al mismo tiempo de la exposición al medio ambiente y de la transpiración del paciente, de este modo se asegura que no se presenten infecciones que pueden dañar la integridad de quien lo porta.La présente invention concerne
