PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lawn seedling raising method by which a lawn seeding can be grown larger.SOLUTION: A lawn seedling raising method comprises: a seeding/germination step in which a lawn seed is seeded and germinated in a bed soil 1 accommodated in a container such as a seedling pot 12 and a cutting step in which a leaf of a lawn seedling 2 germinated and grown in the seedling pot 12 is cut at a prescribed cutting-height. The cutting step is repeatedly executed during a seedling period from germination in the seedling pot 12 to transplantation. At the cutting step in a first period of the seedling period, the leaf of the lawn seedling is cut at a first cutting-height (H1), at the cutting step in a second period after the first period, the leaf of the lawn seedling 2 is cut at a second cutting-height (H2) lower than the first cutting-height (H1), and at the cutting step in a final stage of the seedling period, the leaf of the lawn seedling 2 is cut at a third cutting-height (H3) lower than the second cutting-height (H2).COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT【課題】芝苗の株をより大きくすることができる芝の育苗方法を提供する。【解決手段】容器の育苗ポット12に収容された床土1に芝種を播いて発芽させる播種・発芽工程と、育苗ポット12内で発芽して生育した芝苗2の葉を所定の刈り高さで刈る刈取工程と、を含む芝の育苗方法。刈取工程は、育苗ポット12内で発芽してから移植するまでの育苗期間にわたって複数回繰り返し遂行される。育苗期間の第1期間における刈取工程では、芝苗の葉を第1刈り高さ(H1)で刈り、第1期間後の第2期間における刈取工程では、芝苗2の葉を前記第1刈り高さ(H1)よりも低い第2刈り高さ(H2)で刈り、また育苗期間の最終段階における刈取工程では、芝苗2の葉を第2刈り高さ(H2)よりも低い第3刈り高さ(H3)で刈る。【選択図】図3
