PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the tip part of an endoscope that is constituted so that an observation window for close contact observation is brought into close contact with a subject and the contaminant on the surface of the observation window for close contact observation is cleanly washed off and acquires a sharp magnified observation image.
SOLUTION: A cavity region 7 depressed from its whole periphery is formed in the tip part main body 2 of the endoscope to arrange an observation window 3 for usual observation outside the cavity region 7, and a suction port 9 and the observation window 8 for close contact observation are arranged on the base of the cavity region 7 while a nozzle 10 for blowing a fluid against the surface of the observation window 8 for close contact observation is opened and formed in the side wall part of the cavity region 7.
