A method for fabricating a composite particle is provided. The composite particle includes a polymer particle and a silica particle adhered to the polymer particle. The method obtains the composite particle by water-based suspension and polymerization of a polymeric monomer in the presence of the silica particle with a type of water-soluble cellulose adsorbed on a surface.
