To provide Tabi (Japanese-style socks) enabling a wearer to readily have efficacy of carp.
SOLUTION: The Tabi is provided with: a piece of inner instep cloth covering a region ranging from the big toe to the inner ankle of the wearer a piece of outer instep cloth covering a region ranging from four toes except for the big toe to the outer ankle a piece of heel cloth extending from the heel to the ankle and a piece of bottom cloth covering the sole. The inner instep cloth and the outer instep cloth can be opened in directions different from each other toward the toe from the ankle. Biasing materials are attached to the inner instep cloth and the outer instep cloth so as to make the toe warp back toward the ankle from the toe. Scales of carp are attached to the inner instep cloth and the outer instep cloth and the heel cloth. A plurality of holes are made ON a piece of the bottom cloth at positions where the sole contacts with the ground.
