The present invention is further directed to a method for treating inflammation, inflammatory-related disorders, or pain, by administering 3, 4-bis-benzylsulfonylbutanenitrile, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt, an enantiomer, or enantiomers thereof to a subject in need thereof.
