SOLUTION: A hemodialyzer comprises a first dialysate container 5 and a second dialysate container 5, of which interiors are each partitioned into three chambers, namely, feed chambers 8, 8, variable-volume chambers 9, 9, and recovery chambers 10, 10. Fresh dialysate is fed from one feed chamber to a dialyzer 1, and while used dialysate is recovered from the dialyzer to a recovery chamber, the volume of a variable-volume chamber is decreased by pump means 46, with the amount equivalent to the decreased volume allowed to be used as an ultrafiltration amount. While the volume of one variable-volume chamber is decreased by the pump means, the volume of the other variable-volume chamber is increased the processes are repeated in an alternating manner, with the result that the volumes of the two variable-volume chambers are different from each other. A flow sensor 57 (measurement means) is used to measure the amount of liquid circulated from one feed chamber to the respective recovery chamber and the amount of liquid circulated from the other feed chamber to the respective recovery chamber so as to allow the pump means to perform adjustment to make the difference smaller.EFFECT: The difference between the circulated amounts is prevented from becoming larger to allow for normal dialysis treatment.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT【解決手段】 血液透析装置は、内部が供給室8、8’、可変容積室9、9’および回収室10、10’の3室に区画された第1透析液容器5と第2透析液容器5’とを備えている。
