PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a volatile substance discharge container which includes a lid body shielding an impregnating rod and an impregnating member and locking pieces preventing a fall of the impregnating member in the way of a lid body removing operation and which can be easily manufactured.SOLUTION: In a neck part 6 erected from a body part 4 of a container body 2, the impregnating rod 20 protruding to above the neck part from the inside of an inner part of the body part is inserted, a lid body 22 covering an upper part of the impregnating rod is fitted in the neck part, a plurality of mounting plates 40 are suspended downward from a peripheral part of a top wall of an over-cap 24 which has a volatile window 30 and is fitted in the body part 4 side, the impregnating member 46 inserted so as to freely rise and fall in a dead space V between the mounting plates is placed on the lid body 22, the locking pieces 42 preventing a fall of the impregnating member 46 when the over-cap 24 is removed from the container body are provided at lower parts of the mounting plates, and the locking piece 42 is formed by forming a reverse U-shaped slit in a lower part of the mounting plate 40 and bending a plate part in the slit to the dead space V side.
