The present invention comprises sequentially administering to a patient an effective amount of a human ICOS-targeting agent and an effective amount of a human PD1 or human PD-L1 targeting agent in a patient in need thereof. Provided are methods of treating cancer. The invention also provides anti-ICOS antibodies or antigen-binding fragments thereof and anti-PD1 antibodies or antigen-binding fragments thereof for sequential use in the treatment of cancer in humans in need thereof. The invention also provides an anti-ICOS antibody or antigen-binding fragment thereof and an anti-PD-L1 antibody or antigen-binding fragment thereof for sequential use in the treatment of cancer in humans in need thereof.
