PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To find out a method for effectively utilizing the extract of leaves of Betula Platyphylla Sukatchev var. Japonica Hara of Betulaceae having a high effectiveness, and on one hand, to provide a new and effective collagen production-promoting agent, fibroblast proliferation promotor and a skin preparation for external use obtained by blending them.SOLUTION: By finding out that the extract of the leaves of the Betula Platyphylla Sukatchev var. Japonica Hara of the Betulaceae has functions which are not confirmed yet until now, namely the collagen production-promoting activity and fibroblast proliferation-promoting activity, it becomes possible to apply the same as the collagen production promotor and fibroblast proliferation promotor and further to use as the skin preparation for external use.COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT【課題】本発明の課題は、有効性の高いカバノキ科カバノキ属シラカンバ植物(Betula Platyphylla Sukatchev var.Japonica Hara)の葉の抽出物に関して有効に活用する方法を見つけることにある。また、一方で、新規で有効なコラーゲン産生促進作用剤、線維芽細胞増殖促進剤、並びにこれらを配合した皮膚外用剤を提供することを課題とする。【解決手段】カバノキ科カバノキ属シラカンバ植物(Betula Platyphylla Sukatchev var.Japonica Hara)の葉の抽出物がこれまでに確認されていなかった機能、すなわちコラーゲン産生促進作用、線維芽細胞増殖促進作用を有することを見出し、よってコラーゲン産生促進剤、線維芽細胞増殖促進剤として応用すること、さらに皮膚外用剤にも使用することができる。
