The present invention relates to a hair dye for adding color to hair, and more specifically, to a hair dye composition using natural plant extracts. The hair dye composition comprises a first agent and a second agent. The first agent comprises: 85-93 wt% of an extract obtained from one or more selected from stems, leaves and roots of kelp 0.5-3 wt% of a dye material and a residual amount of one or more selected from the group consisting of a perfume, a disinfectant, an antiphlogistic agent, a preservative, an antioxidant agent, a UV-absorbing agent, an ammonia solution, ammonium glycolate, fatty acid alcohols, water, and potassium alum. The second agent comprises: 85-90 wt% of the extract and a residual amount of an oxidizing agent for oxidizing the first agent, and a pH-adjusting agent.
