PURPOSE: Cutting apparatus for rice straw is provided to prevent a conveying unit, which transfers a stack of straws to the front, from exposing to a top of a main body, thereby easily mounting a stock of straws on a seating surface of the main body and operating effectively. CONSTITUTION: Cutting apparatus for rice straw comprises； a main body including a mounting part on which a stock of rice straws is mounted； a cutting part, which cuts a stock of rice straws mounted on the main body, is installed at a front side of the main body； and a conveying unit which transfers a stock of rice straws to the cutting part is installed at the main body. The conveying unit is installed in order to adjust an upper side of the main body to backward and forward. And the conveying unit comprises； a supporting member which is extended to an upper direction to support a rear surface of a stock of rice straws； a guide rail which is installed in the main body to be extended forward and backward； a moving part which moves forward and backward according to the guide rail and includes a travelling carriage connected to the supporting member to transfer the supporting member backward and forward； and a traction unit which drives the travelling carriage in order to move to forward and backward direction of the main body.본 발명은 원형의 볏짚단을 소정길이로 절단할 수 있는 볏짚 절단장치에 관한 것이다.본 발명에 따른 볏짚 절단장치는 볏짚단이 안착되는 안착부를 구비한 본체와, 상기 본체의 전방 일측에 형성되어 본체에 안착된 볏짚단을 절단하는 절단부와, 상기 본체에 설치되며 상기 볏짚단을 절단부측으로 이송시키는 이송유닛을 포함하며, 상기 이송유닛은 상기 본체의 상면을 전후방향으로 주행 가능하게 설치되며 안착되는 볏짚단의 후면을 지지할 수 있게 상방으로 연장된 받침부재와, 상기 본체에 전후방향으로 연장되게 설치되는 가이드레일과, 상기 가이드레일을 따라 전후방향으로 주행하며 상기 받침부재와 연결되어 상기 받침부재를 전후로 이송시키는 주행대차를 포함하는 이동부와, 상기 주행대차를 상기 본체의 전후방향으로 이동하도록 구동시키는 견인부를 구비한다.본 발명에 따른 볏짚 절단장치는 볏짚단을 전방으로 이송시키는 이송유닛이 본체의 상부에 노출되지 않아 볏짚단을 본체의 안착면 상에 용이하게 안착시킬 수 있으며, 효율적인 구동이 가능하게 되는 이점이 있다.
