PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray CT apparatus, even when switching a tube voltage at a high speed, capable of collecting data synchronized with effective switching timing of the tube voltage.SOLUTION: An X-ray CT apparatus includes an X-ray tube, a tube voltage generation unit, an X-ray detector, a tube voltage monitoring unit, and a data collection unit. The X-ray tube radiates X-ray toward a subject. The tube voltage generation unit switches among a different tube voltages in time division and applies it to the X-ray tube. The X-ray detector is disposed corresponding to the X-ray tube on the other side of the subject, and detects the X-ray passing through the subject. The tube voltage monitoring unit monitors a change in the tube voltage along time series and specifies timing when the tube voltage is effectively switched in response to the switching.
